Being a subcontractor we have to create a responsive Pixel Perfect Layout in a very short time before the festival of the 30 Year of Korea collaboration. Except it, to make a unique service on site (using WordPress CMS) with registration, personal accounts with different roles, uploading different statistics, conducting quests and polls, email newsletters and so on.

Problem

It is necessary to create an absolutely custom unparalleled site in a short time.

Workflow

After evaluating the deadlines, we create a project plan, while using exclusively SCRUM. We chose WordPress as the basis, while simultaneously writing the terms of reference for the modules that needed to be developed to implement the Client's functionality.

1 The first step is the analysis of the information provided by the client and the completion of the technical specification.
2 The second step is making recommendations in terms of design compliance with the stated design.
3 The third step is layout and programming on the CMS WordPress platform and the development of custom modules:
- Module for collecting data for every quest about users activities and obtained points
- Module for parsing from Instagram (using hashtags) and publish on site pictures
- Module for analysis of points that users get playing quests and answering the polls

Summary

As a result, we got a stylish, beautiful project, so interesting for the user that on average there were 10,000 visitors per week, 1,000 of whom were actively playing the implemented Quiz on a weekly basis.
